I’ve always been a fan of innovative design and modern art and I encourage cutting edge creations. Recently I have notice this great towards merging techniques, merging materials to come up with new art concepts. For instance using body paint in fashion or simply in photography. The paint becomes the dress or the outfit itself. The paint takes over the role of clothes and dresses a body better than fabric. Not only body paint takes this role but also other materials and other techniques.
I have decided to team up with fellow colleagues, Raymond Abdallah, Lea Baddour and Donna Azzi to experiment with body pain on a new projectt. We chose a minimal approach with a simple black and white color theme. We wanted a modern and edgy approach so our basic grid was geometric symmetry but we also wanted to keep a rustical mood, inspired by Still Life paintings.
