One Way You Could Style-up Your Winter

I had to go to Berlin to film some street-style looks in January for the MBFW with Mode Media and it occurred to me that I had no warm coat that could fight the -5 degrees in this beautiful German capital! I mean sure, I do have my lovely ski jacket, but who wants to go to Fashion Week in a ski-jacket right?

If you are like me, commuting in public transport or in cars all month long, you wouldn’t need to worry that much about how really resistant your clothes are to winter cold, we are 80% of our time indoors or at least always surrounded by heating systems! But when particular occasions likes this come along, you do realize how much you need a good quality coat that can be chic and warm in the same time!

Luckily I had been already at Promod this season and I did notice the endless number of coats on display and on sale they had in month of January. So I got quite lucky! I found this lovely beige leather coat on sale and I tried it on. It felt like I was staying in a portable sauna, it was so warm you could just stay in your underwear and still feel good inside. It looked also incredibly good, it is a classic timeless cut in a nude color which goes to anything you would wear and fits every skin color you have. Getting a classic cut coat will allow you to look chic whatever you wear it with; Heals, sneakers, over-knees…you can never go wrong with this coat.
I decided to pair it with an all black outfit; pencil skirt, crop-top and leather over-knees. The combination gives you a slim and sleek silhouette and the heeled boots will elongate your figure. The crop-top is a good choice if your petite, this gives the illusion that the lower part of your body is longer than it actually is.
If it is sometimes boring for you to stick to beige, nudes and blacks in winter ad a little colorful neck-scarf around.
